• A three-dimensional rose blooms in the center, surrounded by small parsley leaves. The design with green lines is full of a very noble prettiness, and is a series that fascinates the viewer.
  
  The "Vienna Rose", also known as the "Habsburg Rose", was originally produced by the Vienna kiln (now the Augarten kiln) as a favorite set for Empress Elisabeth of the Habsburgs, who was known as the aristocrat among aristocrats.
  When the Vienna kiln closed in 1864, many of the molds and patterns, including the "Vienna Rose", were transferred to Herend in Hungary on the orders of then Emperor Franz Joseph. Herend continued to deliver them until the emperor retired from the throne, and the "Vienna Rose" was treated as a pattern that never left the Habsburgs' gates.
  After World War I, the Habsburgs abdicated the throne and the "Vienna Rose" was produced for the general public, and it is now one of Herend's most popular patterns.
